MUTTON WITH OKRA SOUR AND SPICY CURRY

Ingredients:
Mutton - 250 gms
Lady finger - 250 gms
Onions - 2
Green chillies - 4
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Tamarind juice- 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Cloves - 4
Cardamom - 2
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Oil - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves -  small bunch

Method:

  • Heat oil in pressure cooker, add cloves, cardamom and cinnamon. Fry for few seconds.
  • Add chopped onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and fry till onions are soft.
  • Add mutton, salt, turmeric, chilli powder and 1 cup of water.
  • Close the lid and cook till mutton is tender and cooked.
  • Once the lid is open, add okra pieces, tamarind juice, coriander powder.
  • Cook in low flame for 7-8 minutes.
  • Lastly add garam masala and coriander leaves.
  • Serve.
