Maida - 200 gms
Baking soda -1/4 tsp
Egg - 1
Oil - 2 tsp
Curd - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp
Grated Cheese - 6 tbsp
Salt to taste


  • In a bowl, mix maida, baking soda, curd, sugar, egg, salt and oil to make soft dough.
  • Cover the dough with wet cloth and keep aside for 2 hours.
  • Divide the dough into equal parts and press each ball in to roti ; put some cheese and and close it.
  • Press it like roti; apply little oil over it and sprinkle poppy seeds.
  • Bake the naan at moderate oven for 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve garnished with grated cheese.
