Ingredients:
Maida - 500 gms
Rawa - 50 gms
Butter - 1 tbsp
Salt - pinch
Sugar/ jaggery - 500 gms or less (as per the taste)
Oil for frying
Method:
Maida - 500 gms

Method:
- Mix maida, Rawa, butter and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and make dough.Cover it with wet cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Make small marble size balls and press them with gavvalu mould or make it with fingers.
- Heat oil in kadai; deep fry them until golden and keep aside.
- Take sugar or jaggery with 1 cup of water and bring to boil. Cook till the sugar syrup is in thick consistency.
- Remove and pour over gavvalu and mix well till the syrup coats over the gavvalu.
- Let it cool and store in airtight container.
