STRAWBERRY SAUCE FOR TOPPINGS

Ingredients:
Frozen strawberries - 425 gms
Black currant jelly - 4 tbsp
orange liqueur - 2 tbsp
Cornstarch -2 tbsp
Cold water - 60 ml

Method:

  • Thaw strawberries according to directions on package
  • Place strawberries, jelly and liqueur in casserole. Microwave 4 minutes uncovered.
  • Mix cornstarch with water; stir into sauce ad continue microwaving 3 minutes.
  • Cool and pour over ice cream or drizzle over sponge cake.
