Ingredients:
Hoisin sauce - 3 tbsp
Vinegar - 2 tbsp
Water - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
Cornstarch - 1/2 tsp
Red pepper - 1/8 tsp (crushed)
Salad oil - 2 tbsp
Medium-size raw shrimp - 453 gms (shelled and deveined)
Garlic - 1 clove (minced and pressed)
Green onions - 6 (diagonally cut into 1 inch lengths)
Method:
Hoisin sauce - 3 tbsp
Vinegar - 2 tbsp
Water - 2 tbsp

Method:
- Mix hoisin sauce, vinegar, water, sugar, ginger, cornstarch and red pepper; set aside.
- Heat oil in a wide frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 2 minutes.
- Add onions and hoisin mixture and cook, stirring, until sauce is thickened and shrimp are opaque in thickest part when cut (about 3 minutes). Makes 4 servings.
