Ingredients:
Prawns - 750 gms (medium sized, shelled and deveined)
Large onions - 3 (chopped)
Tomatoes - 3 (blanched and chopped)
Garlic cloves - 12 (minced)
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Tamarind paste - 2 tbsp
Coconut milk - 4 tbsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Method:

Method:
- Heat oil in a pan; add chopped onion and garlic and fry till onions are transparent.
- Add tomatoes, salt, chilli powder and turmeric. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Then add prawns and tamarind paste and fry them for 7-8 minutes.
- Add coconut milk and simmer for 10 minutes until done.
- Serve hot with rice.
