Ingredients:
Chicken - 500 gms
Onions - 2-3 (chopped)
Green chillies - 4
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Cloves -4
Cinnamon stick -2
Cardamom - 2
Star anise - 1
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Method:
Chicken - 500 gms

Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Method:
- Heat the oil in pan; add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, star anise and cumin seeds and fry them.
- Add onion pieces, green chillies and ginger garlic paste. Stir fry until onions are lightly golden brown.
- Then add chicken pieces, salt, turmeric, chilli powder, pepper, coriander powder and cumin powder. Mix well and stir fry for 5 minutes.
- Add one cup of water and cover and cook in low flame until chicken pieces are tender.
- Lastly add garam masala and coriander leaves and cook another 2 minutes.
- Serve with rice or roti.
