Ingredients:
Long beans - 250 gms
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Green chillies - 2 (chopped)
Moong dal - 1 tbsp (soaked)
Grated coconut - 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric - /4 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Channa dal - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few
Method:
- Cut long beans into small pieces and boil them for few minutes. Drain and keep aside.
- Heat oil in pan; add channa dal, cumin, mustard and curry leaves and allow them to fry.
- Then add onion, green chillies and ginger garlic paste; fry till onions are soft.
- Add boiled beans, soaked moong dal, turmeric, salt and chilli powder. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Lastly add coriander leaves.
