Ingredients:
Paneer - 200 gms
Onions - 2
Tomatoes - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Cashew nuts - 15
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Curd 1/2 cup
Cinnamon - 1
Cloves - 4
Cardamom - 2
Bay leaf - 1
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 4 tsp
Method:
- Heat 2 tsp of oil; add onions and fry till transparent. Then add chopped tomatoes, cashews and cook till soft
- Cool and grind to make paste.
- Heat remaining oil; add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cumin seeds an fry.
- Add ground paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add salt, turmeric, sugar, chilli power, coriander powder; mix and add enough water to cook.
- Then add paneer pieces and little water if necessary and cook another 4-5 minutes.
- Lastly add coriander leaves and garam masala.
