KHUS SYRUP

Ingredients:
Khus sticks - few
Sugar - 4  cups
Citric acid - 1 level tsp
Green clour - 1 tsp
Khus essence - 1 tsp

Method:

  • Soak the khus sticks in water for 2 hours.
  • Boil them till soft, remove from fire. Sieve through muslin cloth.
  • Measure 3 cups of this water and add sugar to to it.
  • Bring to boil to make a syrup of one thread consistency.
  • Add citric acid and remove from flame after 2-3 minutes.
  • When cool, add colour and essence.
  • Store in dry bottle.
