Ingredients:
Rice - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Dry fruits - 1 cup
(roasted almonds, raisins, dates and walnuts)
Butter - 1 tbsp
For sauce:
Cornflour - 4 tbsp
Water - 2 cups
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp
Method:
Rice - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup

Method:
- Soak rice in 2 cups of water for 1/2 an hour. Then cook the rice until soft and cooked.
- Add sugar and mix. Keep aside.
- Grease the pan with butter. sprinkle one tbsp sugar.
- Spread 1/2 of the dry fruits and cover with the layer of rice and top up with remaining dry fruits.
- Steam cook for 20 minutes.
- Invert into serving dish. serve hot with sauce.
To make sauce:
- Mix water, sugar, cocoa, cornflour and boil till it thickens.
- Pour over the pudding and serve hot.
